To London; Visual Identity & Image Making

‘To London’, a campaign that celebrates artists, craftsmen and makers throughout Liberty's home city. In order to keep Liberty at the centre of the campaign while heroing
London as a whole, I illustrated the iconic Liberty tudor linework to form a flexible dynamic grid system. Creating an overall look and feel for the three month over-arching campaign. The use of block colour, shape and hand-crafted type allows the campaign to feel fresh and celebratory. The logo lockup was created using the haviest weight of Liberty’s brand typeface, Akzidenz-Grotesk, and uses the shapes from the building’s tudor line work to cut into the typography, creating a bold and dynamic campaign identity. This 360 campaign continues on Liberty's social media platforms. The identity takes it's visual cues from the rich earthy colours that surround the inconic Liberty store, ensuring that Liberty remains at the core of the campaign. For Liberty London.
